PyraMax Stories & Articles

When it comes to managing your finances, there's a lot to know, and it seems as if things are changing every day! We love educating our customers, and that's why we maintain a thorough selection of stories and articles.

Common Issues with Online Banking

Over the weekend of October 21st-22nd, PyraMax Bank went through a System Upgrade, creating a new Online Banking experience for all of our clients. With that said, some users are experiencing difficulty logging into our new system. Please be aware of the following common issues with Online Banking below, and if you still are experiencing issues logging in, contact your local PyraMax Bank branch.

If you are receiving a pop-up message regarding visiting an unsecured site when logging into Online Banking, simply clear the cookies on your internet browser (often located in the browser settings), click refresh, and try to log in again. We would like to ensure all clients that PyraMax Bank Online Banking is a secure website, and that this pop-up message was a byproduct of the recent System Upgrade over the weekend of October 21st-22nd.

Our new Mobile Banking app is available! Search for "PyraMax Bank" on the App Store or Google Play to download it today!

Logging In

  •  Beginning on October 23, Your user ID must be 8-15 characters long containing letters and numbers. If your previous user ID met this criteria, it has not been changed. The password for personal accounts will be the last 6 digits of your social security number and the password for business accounts will be the last 6 digits of your business EIN.
  • Don’t worry if Online or Mobile Banking takes a moment or two longer than normal to load the first time you access your accounts following the upgrade. This delay will only occur during your initial log in, while all of your account information is updated in the new system. Subsequent logins will load quickly as usual.
  • If you unsuccessfully attempt more than three times to log into Online Banking, your account will be temporarily locked and will need to be reset. This is for security purposes, and resetting your account is as simple as calling your local PyraMax Bank branch.

Recurring Online Transfers

  • If you have a recurring online transfer between deposit accounts or between deposit and loan accounts, you will need to re-establish those transfers after the Systems Upgrade.

Account History

  • Ninety days of account history will be available in Online and Mobile Banking after the Systems Upgrade; however, previous e-statements and check images will be unavailable. You can request past statements and check images from your local branch.

  • PyraMax Bank is working on additional enhancements made possible by the System Upgrade, such as fingerprint identification for the mobile app. Watch for announcements regarding even more new services that will become available to you!
