Account Information

Now you can have your very own savings account!

You probably already know that a bank is where people can go to save and borrow money. The reason people like to save their money at a bank instead of at home is because it is safer and the bank pays you interest. That means the bank pays you to keep your money there each month.

Putting money in the bank is called making a deposit. To make a deposit you have to fill out a deposit slip. After you fill outthe deposit slip, take your money and the slip to one of our Client Service Representatives, who will make sure everything on the slip is correct and will put your money in your account. If you have any questions, the Client Service Representative will be happy to answer them for you!

When you make a deposit in your savings account, you will receive special stamps that are equal to the amount of money you have deposited.

For example, if you deposit $6 in your Moola Moose savings account you will receive a one dollar Moola Hoof stamp and a five dollar Antler stamp. The stamps go on the circles on your stamp page.

Count your stamps to help keep track of how much money you have saved. I want you to be a real saver, so I’ll give you a prize whenever you make one of these savings goals*:

First Deposit - Pencil or Pen
$50 Ruler
$100 Bank
$250 Book Mark
$375 T-Shirt
$450 Bean Bag Moola Moose
$600 Insulated Lunch Bag

*Points start over at zero after each time a prize is awarded.
